MCB scoops ‘Best Private Bank in Mauritius 2023’ award
MCB won the “Best Private Bank in Mauritius 2023” award from Professional Wealth Management (PWM) and The Banker, two specialised publications of the Financial Times group. This is the eighth time that MCB has received this distinction, of which three times in a row.
In its comments, PWM/The Banker recalls how the bank's Private Banking activities have undergone a thorough rebranding to become 'M'. “Its award-winning new logo, featuring the letter in the centre of a stylised lotus flower, is designed to symbolise the importance of “creating valuable and virtuous ecosystems”, according to PWM. The financial publication noted that MCB, which operates from a country vulnerable to climate change, is very conscious about sustainable development related-issues. “It is no surprise that environmental consciousness runs right through the bank’s strategy, from its emphasis on environmental, social and governance investments to its eco-friendly headquarters building”, also highlighted PWM.
